Humans are one of the most dominant species in this planet because we have adapted to our environment to survive and thrive. Thousands and millions of years later we are civilized, educated, and in some countries technologically advanced. Yet many have some how missed the basic concept that we are all human beings. Regardless of race, religion, customs, or language, we all are made from the same biology with minor differences. Many people are caught up with the superficial differences in a fellow human being, mainly skin color. Our ancestors migrated to different parts of the world and created a wide diverse range of people with different color skin because of our biological instinct to survive our environment. Yet this survival tool that all like human beings have is what separates societies, stereotypes, discriminates, creates racism, creates caste systems, and created genocides. 

If we can all consciously make an effort to understand and be open to others’ differences, we can better understand who we are as a person.
